Dan began juggling with his brother at 15 years old. After working as a bicycle mechanic and going to welding school, he decided a career as a professional juggler suited him best. He has been performing around the country at all kinds of venues from festivals to operas for over 13 years. Throughout his circus profession he has trained in many different circus arts and has found himself to be an excellent instructor as well. Dan is currently Head of the Circus Department at Long Lake Camp for the Arts and hopes to continue teaching circus to students of all ages.
Robin Solotoff:
Robin learned to ride a unicycle and juggle 3 balls when she was 10 years old. It was a fun hobby and useful for showing off, but she had no idea at the time the impact that circus would have on her life later on. While studying at the University of South Florida, Robin began to realize her true passion for circus. After graduating with a B.S. in Biology (not a useful degree for a circus star but a degree none the less), she began searching for jobs involving circus. For nearly a decade now she has been performing and teaching circus acts across the country. She loves teaching and working with children and has enjoyed instructing at many different circus schools and camps.
